legend of korra    spoilers    oh lawddddd    for all her toughness and reluctance to get to know korra    - because she sees korra as a student of tenzin's-    i think it was korra fighting amon's goons on her own and not backing down that made lin realize    korra really has a lot of grit    and she's a person of her own- hotheaded and brave and righteous and naive and reckless and trying to do the right thing    and i think maybe that was the moment lin realized she didn't want korra to lose or get hurt    feeeels    ;_;
